How to Remove Candle Wax from Wood Table
Removal Method

Let wax harden. Use a credit card or plastic scraper to gently lift the wax. Do not use metal (scratches finish).

For remaining residue: place a cloth over the spot and briefly touch with a warm iron. The wax softens and transfers to the cloth.

Polish with furniture polish or a small amount of mineral oil.
💡 Alternative Method
Hair dryer on low heat held 6 inches away softens wax for wiping.
🚫 What NOT to Do
- Do not use a metal scraper on finished wood
- Do not use high heat near the wood finish
🔄 If Nothing Works
Very light fine-grit sanding and refinishing if wax has penetrated the finish.
