How to Remove Grease / Oil from Concrete
Removal Method

Cover fresh grease with cat litter, cornstarch, or baking soda. Let absorb for 4-8 hours. Sweep up.

Apply dish soap (Dawn) directly to the stain. Scrub with a stiff brush and hot water.

Rinse. For stubborn stains, apply a paste of baking soda and let sit overnight before scrubbing.
💡 Alternative Method
Commercial concrete degreaser (like Purple Power) for garage floor grease.
🚫 What NOT to Do
- Do not pressure wash grease without pre-treating (pushes grease deeper into porous concrete)
🔄 If Nothing Works
TSP (trisodium phosphate) solution for severe garage floor grease. Requires PPE.
