How to Remove Makeup (Foundation & Lipstick) from Clothes
Removal Method

Scrape off excess makeup with a dull knife. Do not wipe (smears the pigment).

Apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball. Dab the stain from the back of the fabric, working from outside in. The alcohol dissolves the oils and pigments in most foundations.

Apply liquid dish soap directly to any remaining stain. Work in gently. Let sit 10 minutes.

Wash in the warmest water safe for the fabric.
💡 Alternative Method
Shaving cream (the foam type, not gel) applied to the stain for 10 minutes dissolves makeup oils effectively.
🚫 What NOT to Do
- Do not rub the stain when fresh
- Do not put in the dryer until fully removed
🔄 If Nothing Works
Dry cleaning. Mention the type of makeup to the cleaner.
