How to Remove Permanent Marker from Countertop
Removal Method
1
Apply rubbing alcohol to a cloth or cotton ball. Wipe over the marker.
2
For resistant marks on laminate: apply a small amount of non-acetone nail polish remover. Wipe quickly and rinse immediately.
3
Clean the area with dish soap and water to remove alcohol residue.
💡 Alternative Method
Magic Eraser dampened with water.
🚫 What NOT to Do
- Do not use acetone on laminate or painted surfaces
- Do not use rubbing alcohol on granite or marble (use only on laminate, quartz, or solid surface)
🔄 If Nothing Works
