Blot excess. Place the stained area face-down on paper towels.

Apply non-acetone nail polish remover to the back of the stain. Dab with a cloth. The polish transfers to the paper towels below.

Rinse with cold water. Pre-treat with dish soap. Wash normally.

💡 Alternative Method

Rubbing alcohol applied from the back of the stain for acetate-safe fabrics.

🚫 What NOT to Do
  • Do NOT use any nail polish remover on acetate, triacetate, or modacrylic fabrics (dissolves them)
  • Check fabric content before using any solvent
