How to Remove Tomato Sauce from Carpet

This stain sets quickly. Start treatment as soon as possible for the best results. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes to remove completely.
Removal Method

Scrape off excess with a spoon. Blot with cold water.

Mix 1 tbsp dish soap + 1 tbsp white vinegar + 2 cups cool water. Apply and blot.

Blot with plain water. For remaining red pigment: apply hydrogen peroxide (3%) to a small area, wait 5 minutes, blot. Test on inconspicuous area first.
